Our superior quality of Wooden Cooling Towers is made up of chemically treated wood that ensures no legionnaires' disease and algae. These are made by proper treatment of specific wood species and are suited to diverse Industrial applications. Our range of Wooden Cooling Tower includes Wooden Single & Double Flow Induced Draft Crossflow with Direct Drive Systems, Wooden Single & Double Flow Induced Draft Crossflow with Reduction Gearbox Drive System, Packaged Wooden Double Flow Induced Draft Crossflow and Fanless Induced Draft - Wooden Tower.
Wooden Single & Double Flow / Induced Draft Crossflow with Direct Drive Systems  | | | These are lower & medium capacity cooling towers & upto 8' feet dia fan are supplied with multiblade cast aluminium adjustable pitch fan with M.S. fabricated H.D.G. hub and S.S. hardware. Motor provided with the system is special low R.P.M. totally enclosed vertical, Flange type with enlarge & threaded shaft & sealed top is supplied with the cooling tower. The motor is totally weather proof in IP-55 construction suitable for heated & humid atmosphere. Main structural components & other light sections machined with selected preservative timber. All structural joints are bolted with galvanized bolts and S.S./Brass Nails. Stainless Steel or Phosphor Bronze hardwares can be supplied on request at extra cost. For uniform distribution of water, hot water basin is equipped with distribution box through which the water is equally distributed in the hot water basin & is further splashed downward through spray target nozzles. The standard cladding of profile corrugated asbestos cement sheet, the joints of which are lapped to shed water only inside the cooling tower. Specially designed eliminator from single pass pattern to 4 pass pattern of various materials are provided according to applications to minimise bleed of losses. Fill bars are designed to offer maximum splash surface and wetted surface resulting in a high heat transfer rate. The wooden fills are supported on wooden stringers or inside S.S. Wiremesh grids which assure positive & permanent positioning. Different type of fill materials with differentt shapes are available according to suited design of applications. In the above model Fan is directly coupled with the slow RPM motors (vertical Flange mounted with sealed top & enlarged threaded shaft). However , as a option gear driven fan system can be provided if required in some stringent applications. Capacity Available: - 40 CMH to 180 CMH in single flow in single cell.
- 40 CMH to 500 CMH in double flow in single cell.

Wooden Single & Double Flow / Induced Draft Crossflow with Reduction Gearbox Drive System

Medium capacity cooling towers are supplied with fan assembly driven through reduction gear reducer of spiral bevel type with the help of non-lubricated balanced drive shaft with flexible links. Fans are driven by an electric motor coupled to a gear box through a dynamically balanced tubular drive shaft. The complete equipment will be supported on a single fabricated mild steel frame adequately weather proofed.
All structural joints are bolted & galvanised bolts and S.S./Brass Nails. Stainless Steel or Phosphor Bronze hardwares can be supplied on request at extra costs. Different types of treated wooden splash bars, PVC bars are used depending on applications. Fills are supported on S.S.Wire grids/wooden stringers/R.C.C. supports etc. The external casing is either of timber, Asbestos cement board or FRP.
Capacity Available : 150 CMH to 900 CMH per cell in single cell.
Bigger capacities are available in multicell construction.

Packaged Wooden Double Flow / Induced Draft Crossflow

PALTECH developed double crossflow induced draft Cooling Towers with basin, long recognized as finest for efficient & consistent performance. Its vertical discharge permits installation in areas not suited for tower with horizontal discharge.
Motor is mounted totally outside the fan cylinder. The device is so compact that it requires negligible maintenance as there is no troublesome complicated system of Housing, Bearing, Pulley & V Belts, Drive Shaft, Coupling & Gear Box.
In special cases where lifting & shifting of packaged cooling towers is not possible we can assemble cooling tower at site.
Packaged Tower casing top panel and access door are constructed of marine grade pressure treated plywood. Chemically treated pine wood is used for fills and other parts to withstand high inlet water temperature. In special cases where lifting and shifting of packaged cooling towers is not possible we can assemble cooling tower at site.
Specially designed and selected material of construction to suit very high temperature, contaminated or brakish water application (where PVC fills does not work & deform).
Standard Accessories
The cooling tower is inclusive of induced draft fan, motor, fibre glass/wooden louvers, H.D.G. painted M.S.Fabricated fan cylinder, chemically treated marine plywood, chemically treated pine wood, cold water basin and basin fittings like suction assembly, overflow & drain fittings.

Fanless Induced Draft - Wooden Cooling Tower
Paltech Fanless/Fill less/Jet type Cooling Tower are specially designed for giving ultimate performance with virtually no maintenance.
These Cooling Towers are based on the principal of transfer of heat from hot water to atmospheric air by arranging the both air & water to come in contact with each other in such a fashion that heat transfer is maximum.
The material of construction of these Cooling Towers is chemically treated wood for louvers. The distribution system is made up of GI/PVC and structure is of chemically treated wood. Specially designed Nylon/PP nozzles are used for achieving maximum efficiency. These towers are available with chemically treated wood, FRP coated MS Basin or without basin.
"Paltech" Cooling Towers has a vast range of models to suit different requirements. The capacity range is from 5 TR and onwards.
